Bolney Meadow, Lambeth
South East London
The Bolney Meadow estate is being regenerated over 25 years.
In March 2008 Presentation housing association, now part of the Notting Hill Group, received a 'yes' vote for the stock transfer of 600 homes on the Bolney Meadow estate in Lambeth, South London.
Getting residents involved
We had been working with residents and the London Borough of Lambeth on detailed proposals for the refurbishment of the estate, a community development strategy and also a new community centre since 2006.
A community board was set up which influences and monitors the project closely feeding back to other residents. The scheme also has a dedicated housing management team working on site.
Bringing a community to life
The £64 million regeneration programme involves extensive physical regeneration.
Also, a number of community initiatives will be put in place to help improve the quality of life and opportunities available to residents, with £1.3 million specifically earmarked for new community facilities.
Next steps
Phase 1 and phase 2 have begun. We will keep you up-to-date with future phases.
