Phase 2 (Bolney Meadow)
South East London
The second phase of the Bolney Meadow regeneration was the construction of a new community centre.
This was the result of a resident survey that highlighted the need for better community facilities. Top of the list of preferred facilities were an advice centre, computer room and community hall. We also provided a kitchen and café and a community office.
Construction works
The builders went on site in July 2010 and Bolney residents werebe able to start using the new community facilities by the end of March 2011.
A sustainable building
The community centre is built to BREEAM very good standard. A BREEAM rating means that the building will bring environmental, economic and social benefits including reduced operating costs.
