St George Wharf is a landmark development on the River Thames developed by St George, with affordable housing provided by Notting Hill Housing.
Mixed tenure management
St George Wharf features 822 privately owned properties, 195 shared ownership properties and 194 rented properties with more phases in development.
Notting Hill manages all the affordable homes. We worked hard with St George to put a management strategy in place to deliver high quality management across all tenures.
In line with other large Section 106 schemes which we manage, we set great store by forging excellent relations with the managing agent who provides estate services such as cleaning and landscape maintenance.
Starter tenancies
At St George Wharf we used starter tenancies.
A moving-in officer based on site emphasised the importance of good neighbourly relations and our casework officers acted quickly to resolve issues between residents.
