Our business
Our business includes the operation of all our office buildings, whether new or existing, and our day-to-day work activities.
Printing: Our printing operations have had an overhaul. Firstly, we have switched to more energy-efficient multi-functional devices for printing, scanning and faxing. Secondly, we have introduced a waste-reducing 'follow-me' printing system and the use of duplex printing as standard.
Computers: Wherever possible we have replaced PCs with low-energy Wyse virtual terminals.
Recycling: Soon all our office sites will have full recycling contracts in place to ensure responsible processing and disposal of all our office waste.
Heating and cooling: We have installed energy efficient boilers and chillers for the heating and cooling systems in our new main office. We have also installed a smart Building Management System (BMS) so that we can control our energy use for heating and cooling effectively.
Lighting: Energy efficient LED lighting with movement sensors are being used where feasible in our new main office.
Office supplies: We stock our offices with Fair Trade tea and coffee, eco-friendly cleaning products, and toilet paper and hand towels made from recycled paper.
