Our people
Everybody has a part to play – we want to provide our residents with the means to lead more environmentally conscious lives, and to encourage and support our staff to deliver our environmental strategy through their working practices.
Staff transport: We encourage use of low-carbon transport amongst our staff. We provide bike storage and shower facilities at our offices for staff wishing to commute to work by bike, and we offer 'Cycle to Work' scheme incentives. Many of our staff need to travel around London for their work, so we provide Oyster cards to make public transport use easy and we continually seek to improve the efficiency of our pool car fleet.
Customer awareness: We hope to use various resident engagement channels to raise greater awareness of 'green' issues and educate residents on how they can reduce their energy and water use at home.
Staff awareness: We plan to raise more awareness amongst staff about environmental issues through internal communications campaigns and learning opportunities.
