Finance and assets

The Notting Hill Housing Group is one of the most financially robust housing associations in the UK.

Our assets are worth more than £2 billion and we have an annual turnover of more than £200 million.

We have financial reserves of more than £250 million and a very low level of borrowings for an organisation of our size. We also have access to a land bank fund of £200 million.

Profit with purpose

Notting Hill Housing is a registered provider of housing for people in need. We are a social enterprise and have a 'profit for purpose' ethos.

This means that we re-invest all of our profits and reserves to develop additional social housing that will improve the lives of homeless, poorly housed and vulnerable people across London.

Financial information

You can view our annual reports and financial statements for detailed financial information.

In 2010, we issued a public bond which raised £180 million from a number of investors. As a result, Moodys Investors Service published an opinion of the financial strength of Notting Hill Housing. Our current rating is Aa3.

Homes and Communities Agency partner

Notting Hill Housing is a preferred partner for the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA). For the financial year to 31 March 2010 we received a grant allocation of £205 million, which was the largest of any HCA partner.
