London Marathon fundraising

Each year, a group of dedicated runners raise funds in the London Marathon to help us improve the lives of poorly housed and vulnerable people across the city.

The next London Marathon will take place on Sunday 24 April 2016 and our runners are training hard!

Donate to the campaign and support our 33 admirable runners in this year's race.

The London Marathon

Our organisation is woven into 50 years of rich London history and community, and we are proud to participate in one of the largest events of our city. Dedicated runners have represented Notting Hill Housing in the Virgin London Marathon for more than a decade, helping raise funds to invest in some of London’s most vulnerable people.

About the race

The London Marathon is widely regarded as one of the biggest marathons in the world. Tens of thousands of people take part each year from every corner of the world, and millions of others watch. The annual race starts in Greenwich and, after 26.2 gruelling miles, the brave runners cross the finish line in front of Buckingham Palace.

About our runners

Anyone 18+ who pledges to raise at least £1,450 (includes a £50 entry fee) can run the race for our charity. Runners choose to participate as an individual or as a team. We’ll help out where we can and promote our runners on social media with photos and stories.

Our 33 spots in the marathon are now filled, however you can still apply and be put on a waiting list in the case that somebody doesn't run.

Where do the funds our runners raise go?

Every penny of sponsorship money raised by our runners is used to help vulnerable people across London through our Hardship Fund.

In 2015, Notting Hill Housing raised over £40,000, and we hope to raise even more next year.
