What we do

Notting Hill provides homes and services to help people get on in life.

A good quality home, rented or owned, means security and stability for the people who live there. It's the base on which they build the rest of their lives. We provide all kinds of homes for all kinds of people.

We have over 25,000 homes all across London and the South East.

Some properties are leased to us, some are partly owned by the resident, but most we own outright. Many people are happy renting from us, for others buying is their ultimate goal and we want to help them do so.

Resident involvement

We want our residents to love where they live. This means putting the needs of our residents at the heart of everything we do. Residents can get actively involved in shaping our services in many ways including:

  • Housing Services Committee
  • Resident Repairs Working Party
  • Disability forum
  • Home owner Forum, Action Group
  • Lesbian and Gay Voice
  • Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Residents' Group
  • Home Options Forum, Focus Forward
  • Pathways panel
  • Design panel
  • Residents' Housing Management Working Group.

Partnerships

We currently work in partnership with:

  • over 35 local authorities
  • private developers including Bellway, St George and Lovells
  • around 1,800 private landlords
  • other registered social landlords.

Local communities

Notting Hill Housing works with local communities to build neighbourhoods that work. We have played a leading role on a number of major regeneration projects in London, including Dalgarno in North Kensington and the Adastral South estate in Barnet.
