The Isokon on Lawn Road, Camden is a Grade 1 listed building with great cultural and historical importance, hailed as the embodiment of modern living when it first opened in the 1930s.
Despite this, the building was derelict when we took it on and require substantial repair to the existing concrete structure.
We liaised closely with English Heritage (Opens in new window) every step of the way to keep the building and individual flats true to the original design philosophy. Our highly acclaimed refurbishment has won a RIBA award for "best conversion" in 2005 and was highly commended by the Evening Standard New Homes Awards, also in 2005.
