Furnished tenancies

We also provide some furnished tenancies with an additional charge in your weekly rent.

If you have a furnished tenancy, you need to take care of the furniture and let us know if anything is broken or damaged.

Furniture charge

If you have a furnished tenancy, the furniture charge in your rent will stay at a fixed level for four years (or any shorter period given in your tenancy agreement). After this time we will review the charge.

At this review, we will usually remove the furniture charge and your total weekly rent may reduce. Afterwards, even though you will no longer be making weekly payments for the furniture, you will not own it. The furniture is still our property.

Can I keep the furniture?

You may keep the furniture for as long as you stay in your home. You must ask our permission before you remove it.
