Get involved

There are a number of ways leaseholders can provide feedback and have a positive impact on the service we provide to you.

Some take just five minutes of your time and some could take several days over the course of a year. Here are a few but there are links to more at the bottom of the page.

Action Group

The Action Group is a group of home owners who make recommendations to improve our service. The group meet with Notting Hill staff on a regular basis. Taking part in the Action Group is an opportunity for you to raise issues with us, influence the services we deliver and increase resident satisfaction.

If you are interested in joining the group or finding out the future meeting dates, please contact the Resident Involvement Team.

Section 20 consultation

When we carry out major works or cyclical decorations to our buildings, we will enter a process of consultation with our leaseholders. This is often referred to as Section 20 consultation.

It will usually give you the opportunity to:

  • comment on the scope of any work we are proposing to do
  • nominate contractors who we can ask for estimates for the works
  • review all the returned estimates from various contractors for the works.

Leaseholders are encouraged to respond to this consultation when it takes place, so that they can influence the works affecting their buildings.

Estate inspections

We know that different buildings will have different needs, and the amount of attention they require will differ depending on those needs so we have set inspection schedules for all buildings that we own or manage.

Leaseholders are invited to accompany their Property Management Officer on inspection. We understand that, as a resident, you may have a particular perspective on how the building is being managed which is useful for us to consider.

Dates and times of inspections should be displayed in the communal areas of your building. You can also contact your Property Management Officer to find out when they will next be attending your building.

If you would like more information about any of this, please speak to your Property Management Officer. If you do not know who your Property Management Officer is, or do not have their contact details, you can find out instantly by typing your postcode into the simple form on the Property Management Officer finder page.
