Subletting
Notting Hill shared ownership leaseholders are not permitted to sublet the whole of their property until they hold 100 per cent of the equity.
Notting Hill will not grant shared owners consent to sublet, as this would be breaking the covenants of the lease.
Notting Hill will take action against shared ownership leaseholders who breach their lease by subletting or assigning without permission.
100 per cent equity
If you own 100 per cent of the equity in your home you are not required to request permission from Notting Hill to sublet your property.
If you do sublet your property in these circumstances, it is helpful if you can provide us with your alternative contact details and those of your tenant in case of emergency.
