Ways to pay your rent

As a permanent rented housing tenant, there are several quick and easy ways for you to pay your rent.

You can pay your rent in the following ways:

  • by direct debit from your bank or building society account: contact your housing officer if you would like us to set up a direct debit where we automatically take payment at the beginning of each month
  • by payment card: with your payment card you can pay your rent online or over the phone 24 hours a day. Just phone Allpay on 0844 557 8321 or go to their website- www.allpayments.net. You will be asked for the number on your payment card. If you are a tenant and would like to be able to pay your rent this way but do not have a card, please contact your housing officer who can order one to be sent to you.
  • at a post office: use your rent payment swipe card
  • online: you can view your account and make payments through My Notting Hill
  • by credit or debit card: contact your Housing Officer to make a payment over the phone or ask them to take an electronic payment when they visit you in your home
  • by cheque: please write your address and payment reference number on the back of each cheque and post payment to Notting Hill Housing, 1 Sussex Place, Hammersmith W6 9EA.
  • by standing order: download our standing order form to set up a standing order for your rent payments or ask your Housing Officer for a form.

Housing benefit

If you receive housing benefit, you can usually arrange for your local council to pay this straight to us.

Rent statements

Every three months we will send you a statement showing the rent you have paid to us. You should check this against your own record of payments and raise any questions with your Housing Officer.
