Concerns about abuse

Please tell us if you have experienced or witnessed abuse. We will help.

At Notting Hill Housing Trust we are committed to taking action against anyone who abuses our customers on our premises or in our services. We are working to make sure that all our customers receive housing and support services in an environment that promotes
dignity and respect.

What is abuse?

Abuse may be physical, emotional, mental/psychological, financial, or sexual. Abuse may be action against a person or it can be neglecting to provide care or support.

What can you do?

Please tell someone. Report the abuse to a member of staff, their line manager or a senior manager. If the abuse is being carried out by a manager then you can report it to our Director of Notting Hill Pathways or your Notting Hill Pathways Head of Operations on 020 8357 5000.

What can we do about abuse?

  • We will carry out a preliminary investigation within 24 hours and decide on the next steps to be taken.
  • We will treat your report in confidence, but may have to share the details with other agencies in order to investigate it further. We will talk about this with you.
  • We will help to support you in coping with the effects of the abuse you have experienced or witnessed during the investigation.
  • We may have to involve other organisations and agencies depending on the type and extent of the abuse. We will discuss this with you and let you know if we have to report the situation to someone else.
