Counsel and Care

Counsel and Care provide in-depth, independent advice over the telephone, and through its 49 free detailed guides. The guides are available by post or on the Counsel and Care website.

Older people, their family and carers can get expert advice over the phone on:

• help at home
• care homes
• hospital discharge
• assessments
• money
• making a complaint
• telephone advice

Counsel and Care aim to give you all the information you need to get the support you're entitled to. They provide brief information when you first call and for more complex questions, offer a same day or next day appointment for 30 minutes phone advice with more experienced staff.
