She had been volunteering at her local GP surgery and had some prior experience of working in retail, however she was unclear about what direction she should take to find sustained employment.

"I had been looking for work for over 6 years and received no support until I found In2Work."

Support

Paulette attended an In2Work motivation course, which supported her to gain enough confidence to highlight all her skills.

With the support of her personal advisor, Paulette sent her CV and a personal letter to local GP surgeries and was invited to an interview.

Return to work

Since returning to work, Paulette's confidence has grown; she is now looking forward to a successful career.

"I'm really enjoying the job; I'm learning a lot and working with lovely people. If it wasn't for In2Work I'd still be at home feeling sorry for myself."
