Parent or adult

As a parent, or an adult working with young people, you can refer young people to the Achieve project for a range of one-to-one support services.

Services

Some of the services we provide include:

  • mentoring
  • life coaching
  • vocational training
  • job preparation training
  • work placements
  • voluntary opportunities
  • life skills
  • group workshops
  • information, advice and guidance
  • signposting to other services.

How does Achieve work?

After receiving a referral, we organise a meeting with the young person and (preferably) the referring person. From that meeting we will develop an action plan with the young person and map a way forward so they may reach their goals.

One-to-one and group support

One-to-one work is a key part of the programme but we also offer group learning opportunities and chances for young people to participate in designing our service.

Eligibility criteria

  • The age range is 14 to 25.
  • The young person must live in Barnet, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea or Wandsworth.
  • Priority will be given to residents of Notting Hill Housing.

Referral process

Whilst a young person can self-refer, we find it valuable if professionals already engaged with the young person complete a referral form, so that we have all the important background information.

Once accepted into Achieve, we hope to work alongside you to provide a rounded service for each young person.
