Notting Hill's youth engagement programme helps many young people. Here's just one case study about Schniell.
Schniell has always been clear about what she wanted to do: become a sports teacher and work with people. She just needed help channelling her natural energy and making the right choices.
Schniell found out about Notting Hill's youth engagement programme while attending our boxing club in Fulham and quickly found focus.
She clocked up experience as a youth mentor, a coordinator of the Urban Arena sport and music festival two years in a row and did voluntary work in our offices.
The cherry on the cake was her successful application to our Youth Development Fund – this funding kick-started her academic career.
Schniell is now in her third year of a Childhood, Youth and Sports Studies degree and loving it.
