What to do with your keys
As a temporary housing tenant, if you move home you need to return your keys.
It is important that you hand back keys at either our Hammersmith or Stratford Office on or before the day that your new tenancy begins. You can do this without an appointment, 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
If you hand back keys any later, you will be charged the full rent for the week.
You must not post keys, as they may get lost and you will be charged until keys are received.
When you hand back keys you will be asked to sign a 'surrender of tenancy' form. This is a legal document that confirms that your tenancy has ended. We cannot end your tenancy until this form is signed.
