Property maintenance and repairs
As a temporary housing tenant, you should always contact Notting Hill Housing if you have a repair issue.
In some instances, we will arrange for contractors to attend and carry out the repairs required.
In the majority of cases, the private owner of your property will be responsible for completing a repair. We will contact the owner to advise him/her of the repair. You are not required to contact the private owner yourself.
If any repair is deemed to be caused by you, your family or your guests, then it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for repair.
Report a repair
There are several quick and easy ways in which you can report a repair:
- Contact your housing officer by phone between 9.00am to 5.00pm,
- Text your housing officer your address and a short message
- Email your housing officer with details of your repair.
If you require an emergency repair outside of office hours, call 084 4567 1074.
A contractor will be sent to make the situation as safe as possible and to prevent the problem from getting worse. Any follow-up repairs will be organised the next working day.
