When buying a shared ownership home it is important to use a financial advisor and solicitor who are familiar with the scheme.

We have provided a list of independent financial advisors and solicitors.

The financial advisors will be able to find you a mortgage based on your financial circumstances and the solicitors know about shared ownership and are used to dealing with Notting Hill Housing.

Fees

Some of these companies may charge for their services. Notting Hill Housing is not responsible for their actions.

Your choice should be based on your impression of the overall service and not just the price.

Solicitors

Prices can vary and you should get quotes that include other added fees, such as stamp duty, local searches and so on.

You can use your own solicitor, but first ask them if they are familiar with shared ownership.
